Abstract
The Qur'an is the Word of Allah SWT. which was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. As a guide for man in arranging his life, in order to obtain the happiness of the born and the soul, the world and the hereafter. The Qur'an as a guideline for human life must be well understood and correct (tajwid) to find the values contained in it. In studying alqura'an reading required konsisteni in order to obtain good and correct al-Quran reading skills. for it is required a good motivation. Because motivation is the driving energy, steering and strengthening behavior. One source of motivation of Muslims is the Qur'an. Where human purpose is created to worship Allah SWT. With such motivation Muslims will strive to the maximum extent possible to study and understand the Qur'an for the sake of. This is in accordance with the function of the Qur'an as a guide or guidance in overcoming all the problems faced in life and human life.
