At-Talim Visitors StatisticSurau Dalam Pengembangan Tradisi Minang Di Daerah Perantauan
Abstract
Surau has a very important role in the social structure of Minangkabau. Surau in Minangkabau society is not only regarded as a religious institution, the function of Surau tried to transform the values of culture and religion in society Minang. In the tradition elaborated mosque in Minangkabau, also carried out in the regions overseas. Not a few immigrants are applying the spirit of tradition Surau, one group of Minang people in Bengkulu. Surau founded by the Minang people who go abroad in the area of Bengkulu. The desire to establish Surau arising from anxiety Minang some young people, who saw some of the problems that occur around them, especially the problem pergaualan Minang society that no longer reflect Islam and Tradition as a source of Minangkabau philosophy. Hence arises the idea to set up a group that is expected to maintain traditions that exist in the area Surau Overseas.
