At-Talim Visitors StatisticALTERNATIF PENGGUNAAN GRAFEM X DALAM PENYERAPAN UNSUR ASING
Abstract
PUEBIyD, PUPI, and PPK contain usage rules of grapheme x in absorption of foreign vocabularies to Bahasa Indonesia (BI). However, the adaptation of grapheme x is still limited starting position of words and specifically for names and knowledge used. The limitation induces some issues, such as, (1) mark badness of BI, (2) create ambiguity in emergence of some new consonant groups, (3) ignite decoding of words, and (4) show the overlap of rules in absorbing foreign elements. Usage of grapheme x without limitation of position in words is an alternative in problem solving of foreign element absorbing. In addition, it also guarantees closeness to source of language and shows efficiency of letters.
