Dampak Trauma Pasca Gempa Cianjur pada Psikis Anak Sekolah Dasar Islam Kreatif Muhammadiyah Cianjur

This study aims to determine the psychological condition of elementary school students who experienced trauma after the Cianjur earthquake in one of the elementary schools located in Cianjur District, Cianjur Regency in 2023.The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods.Data collection by means of interviews, observations and questionnaires.The research subjects were 2 students who experienced post-earthquake trauma.Data analysis using content analysis, data validity analysis using Triangulation.The results of the study showed that students experienced mild to severe trauma due to the large earthquake that occurred in Cianjur.Factors causing children to experience prolonged trauma after the earthquake because they often remember the events at that time and have affected their learning process at school, so this is an obstacle for children to participate in learning activities at school.Factors causing children to experience prolonged trauma after the earthquake because they often remember the events at that time and have affected their learning process at school, so this is an obstacle for children to participate in learning activities at school. Children directly experience, feel, and witness the impact caused by age factors that are still immature in psychological growth.Abstrak: Korban gempa tidak hanya mengalami masalah darurat seperti kerusakan fisik akibat gempa, namun juga masalah kesehatan mental psikologis, seperti; masalah anxieties (kecemasan), stress (tekanan), depresi (kemurungan), dan trauma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi psikis peserta didik sekolah dasar yang mengalami trauma pasca gempa Cianjur di salah satu sekolah dasar yang berada di Kecamatan Cianjur Kabupaten Cianjur pada tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan angket. Subjek penelitian yaitu 2 peserta didik yang mengalami trauma pasca gempa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isi, analisis keabsahan data menggunakan Triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mengalami trauma ringan sampai trauma berat karena gempa besar yang terjadi di Cianjur. Faktor penyebab anak mengalami trauma berkepanjangan pasca gempa karena mereka seringkali teringat kejadian saat itu dan telah berpengaruh terhadap proses pembelajaran mereka di sekolah, sehingga ini menjadi hambatan bagi anak untuk mengikuti kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Anak-anak secara langsung mengalami, merasakan, dan menyaksikan dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat faktor usia yang masih belum matang secara pertumbuhan psikologis.
