Peran Media dalam Keputusan Perempuan Muda Menggunakan Beragam Produk Khusus untuk Daerah Kewanitaan

Abstract


The female body has never been separated from the power relations that regulate and discipline it. Not only is the visible parts of the body, but the most private organ of a woman also disciplined. The vagina gets a lot of demands in order to be perfect according to the construction that has been formed in society. The vagina must continue to be tight and fragile like a virgin, it must also be clean and fragrant and healthy. From the various demands that have developed, business people present a variety of products to maximize the appearance of the vagina. Through social media, many products are advertised, ranging from cleansing soaps, creams, serums, perfumes, vitamins, sprays, pills, and others. From there, a variety of practices are carried out by young women using these widely advertised products. Limited information on reproductive health makes young women utilize the presence of social media in their decision to buy and use special products for the vagina.
