Pendampingan Penggunaan Magic School untuk Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Inovatif Guru SDN Tambung 1 Pamekasan
Abstract
Various AI-based platforms are now available to assist teachers in designing and implementing more effective and engaging learning. However, some teachers are still unfamiliar with or not accustomed to using these platforms, even though they can simplify and optimize lesson planning and implementation according to students’ needs. Based on observations and interviews at SDN Tambung 1 Pamekasan, teachers were found to require assistance in using AI platforms to support their professional performance. Although the school has adequate facilities, such as a computer laboratory, Chromebooks, and internet access, their use has not been maximized. To address this need, a training and mentoring program was conducted to support the development of innovative teaching materials using the Magic School platform. The program consisted of four stages: needs identification through observation, training workshops on AI use, guided mentoring, and evaluation of teachers’ work. The results indicate improvements in teachers’ ability to design creative and contextual materials, as well as increased confidence and collaboration. The study recommends continuous training, supportive school policies, and systematic integration of AI platforms in teacher professional development.
