In April 2013, Manhaj: Journal of Research and Community Service was first published as Vol. 1 No. 1, presenting ten scholarly articles in printed format as its inaugural issue. - December 2017
In December 2017, Manhaj began publishing a digital version while continuing print publication; however, several early articles were missing due to inadequate archival management by the previous editorial administration. - April 2018
In April 2018, Manhaj obtained its P-ISSN 1639-2196 and E-ISSN 2620-6463, effective from Vol. 6 No. 2, with a four-month publication frequency or three issues annually. - December 2018
In December 2018, a change in the Editor in Chief led to adjustments in editorial policy, including a reduction in publication frequency from three issues to two issues per year. - October 2019
In October 2019, Manhaj achieved national accreditation at SINTA Level 5, retroactively effective from Vol. 7 No. 1 June 2017, alongside significant improvements in editorial management and indexing capacity. - March 2022
In March 2022, Manhaj underwent a reaccreditation process and successfully improved its national ranking from SINTA Level 5 to SINTA Level 4 through sustained quality enhancement. - October–November 2025
In October 2025, another change of Editor in Chief occurred, followed in November 2025 by an increase in published articles per issue from eight to twenty due to high submission volume. - January 2026
In January 2026, Manhaj implemented comprehensive reforms in journal governance, editorial policies, layout, and website management, restoring its original three-issue annual publication frequency starting from Vol. 15 No. 1.
