Edukasi Berbasis Syariah dan Aplikasi Digital sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Literasi Keuangan Keluarga Guru

Abstract


Teachers are the builders of the future, yet they often face financial challenges due to a lack of knowledge and practice in managing household finances. In this regard, a community service program entitled “Family Financial Literacy Education Based on Sharia Principles” was conducted at SMK Bhakti Samudera Surabaya. The program was attended by 15 teachers and designed to enhance participants’ capacity to manage household finances through three main activities: basic training in Sharia-based financial planning, a workshop on using the digital financial application Money+, and education on long-term planning and Sharia-compliant investment strategies. Evaluation using pre-test and post-test methods showed an average improvement of 12.4% in participants’ financial literacy. These findings indicate that combining Sharia financial literacy with digital transformation tools effectively enhances participants’ abilities in budgeting, understanding the importance of emergency funds, and understanding Sharia-compliant investment instruments. It is recommended that the next community service program focus on continuous mentoring and the development of Sharia financial literacy teaching modules to enable teachers to apply and disseminate this knowledge more effectively to students and the community
