Mengatasi Tantangan Gadget Melalui Pembelajaran Interaktif Augmented Reality (AR) pada Siswa SDN 01 Sindangsari
Abstract
The frequent use of gadgets by students for non-educational purposes raises concerns about potential negative impacts on their learning motivation. This community service aimed to explore the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology at SDN 01 Sindangsari to address this challenge. Despite concerns from parents and teachers regarding potential gadget misuse, AR was well-received in the learning process. By implementing AR as a learning tool, we aimed to create an engaging learning experience for students. AR technology, with its ability to provide innovative and interactive learning, has the potential to enhance student interest and focus. The primary objective was to investigate the application of AR technology at SDN 01 Sindangsari to tackle challenges associated with gadget usage. This community service employed the Community Empowerment System (Sisdamas) method to empower students, teachers, and parents for using Augmented Reality technology. The results demonstrated a significant increase in student learning motivation after AR implementation, rising from 45% to 85%. Furthermore, the survey indicated that 70% of students could answer questions correctly after AR-based learning sessions, suggesting improved comprehension.
