Penguatan Pemahaman Matematika Siswa Melalui Bimbingan Belajar di Rumah Belajar “Rumbel Pena”

Abstract


This community service activity was carried out in Sentol Laok Village, Pragaan District, Sumenep Regency, East Java Province, which is about ±35 km from the center of Sumenep City. Based on preliminary observations made by the service team, it is known that there is only one elementary school that is the center of education for the people of Sentol Laok Village and there is absolutely no tutoring (institution / individual) in this village. Therefore, this activity is devoted to children of Primary School age. The goal is to provide assistance to elementary school children through "Rumbel Pena (Smart, Effective, Comfortable, and Active Learning House). This mentoring activity is focused on math subjects that during the pandemic students receive through online learning. Learning Assistance activities are one of the solutions during the covid- 19 pandemic. This learning assistance helps students at the Elementary School level to understand math subjects well. In the process, this learning assistance received a positive response from the community, especially the parents of students, considering that this learning assistance was the first activity carried out in Sentol Laok Village. Students also seem enthusiastic to follow the learning assistance, more motivated to learn, and more able to understand the material, so that it is expected to have a better impact on student learning achievement.
