Potret Tingkat Stres Mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Kediri Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin (Gender)

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the Department of Mathematics Education IAIN Kediri student stress level based on gender. This study was used a survey method with 173 respondents, 157 women, and 16 men. Researchers collected data through the Adolescent Stress Questionnaire (ASQ). The results showed that 3% of female students had low-stress levels, 71% had medium-stress levels, and 26% had high-stress levels. On the other hand, 50% of male students have a medium-stress level, and 50% have high stress levels. At high-stress levels, men have more stress levels than women. Overall, male and female students of the Department of Mathematics Education IAIN Kediri have a medium stress level. 4 factors that trigger stress on respondents include (1) intrapersonal factors; (2) interpersonal factors; (3) academic factors; and (4) environmental factors.

Abstarak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat potret tingkat stres mahasiswa Prodi Tadris Matematika IAIN Kediri berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 173 mahasiswa. Dimana 157 diantaranya berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 16 sisanya adalah laki-laki. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket Adolescent Stress Questionnaire (ASQ). Hasil penelitian diperoleh 3% mahasiswa perempuan termasuk dalam kategori stres rendah. Pada kategori medium, mahasiswa laki-laki memiliki tingkat stres dibawah mahasiswa perempuan dengan persentase 71% mahasiswa perempuan dan 50% laki-laki. Pada kategori tinggi, persentase mahasiswa perempuan adalah 26 dan laki-laki sebanyak 50%. Ini menandakan pada kategori tinggi laki-laki memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih daripada perempuan.  Jika dilihat secara keseluruhan, mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan Prodi Tadris Matematika memiliki tingkat stres pada kategori medium. Kondisi stres yang dialami oleh responden dipicu oleh 4 faktor, (1) faktor intrapersonal; (2) faktor interpersonal; (3) faktor akademik; dan (4) faktor lingkungan.
