Metode dakwah Walisongo dalam penyebaran agama islam di tanah Jawa

Abstract

Nowadays, the majority of people have embraced religion according to their respective beliefs. Several religions have been adopted, the majority of the Javanese population is Muslim, this is the result of the struggle of the Waliyullahs in ancient times. Walisongo is the name of nine ulama figures who have spread Islam on the island of Java. They are figures who play an important role in the process of Islamization of the island of Java. The research method used in this research is library research through steps starting from data collection by looking for relevant reference sources. The results obtained show that the spread of the Islamic religion cannot be separated from the role of walisongo, those who have spread the Islamic religion, especially on the island of Java. What is meant by wali songo include Sunan Ampel, Sunan Gresik, Sunan Giri, Sunan Muria, Sunan Gunungjati, Sunan Kaijaga, Sunan Drajat, Sunan Bonang, Sunan Kudus. of the nine sunans, they have different methods, such as trade, education, art and others. This can be a conclusion that the religion of Islam did not spread by itself, but behind this phenomenon there are important figures who made a contribution and as successors of the nation and religion we should not violate the rules or teachings of the Islamic religion, this is a form of our service to our previous ancestors.
