THE INFLUENCE OF WORK ETHIC, MOTIVATION, AND INNOVATIVE ATTITUDES FROM THE QUR'AN AND HADITH PERSPECTIVE ON FARMER PRODUCTIVITY (STUDY OF IMMIGRANT MUSLIM COMMUNITIES FROM SOUTH SULAWESI PROVINCE IN KUKUP VILLAGE, PAPUA)
Abstract
Humans are always moving and trying to find new places as an effort to maintain their existence, and also always make efforts to meet their needs. This study aims to find out how much work ethic, motivation, and innovative attitude of immigrant communities, especially Muslim immigrant communities from South Sulawesi (Enrekang, Bone, and Palopo) in Kukup Koya Koso Village, Abepura District, Jayapura City in their daily lives as farmers of various crops so that they are able to survive until now. The choice of Kukup Koya Koso Village as the location of the research is because in this village there are quite a lot of Muslim immigrants from South Sulawesi who settle and live in the village. In this study, the researcher tried to collect data for analysis purposes by using the concepts of work ethic, motivation, and innovative attitudes taught. Using a qualitative method, the researcher involved several informants taken from the immigrant Muslim community from South Sulawesi by digging up data with in-depth and measured interviews. From the results of the research, these immigrant Muslim communities have a high work ethic, motivation, and a good innovative attitude because they come to this land indeed to seek a better livelihood, they have more or less understood the conception of hard work taught by Islam.
