Scale Up Pengrajin Jawet di Kota Palangka Raya melalui Pelatihan Literasi Keuangan dan Digital Marketing
Abstract
Jawet craftsmen are craftsmen who weave using rattan or other materials such as plastic rope or billion rope. The products they produce are very diverse. However, there are various obstacles they face. This community service aims to provide insight and knowledge about financial literacy and digital marketing, following current trends such as delivery applications or social media, reaching a wider market share in a sustainable manner. The target of this community service activity is Jawet craftsmen in the city of Palangka Raya. The implementation of activities is carried out in various types of activities, namely financial literacy training with mentoring skills in analyzing competitive pricing and how to manage finances, good product packaging so that products look attractive to buyers to increase profitability. Training and mentoring on the use of digital marketing, management of service strategies and appropriate marketing. The methods used are lectures, interactive dialogues and live demonstrations of the use of digital marketing applications. This service has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of Jawet craftsmen by 79.5% for understanding financial literacy and 71.75% for understanding digital marketing materials. This activity has been successfully implemented in accordance with the initial objective of the community service activity, namely to improve the knowledge and skills of Jawet craftsmen in the city of Palangka Raya.
