Abstract

Currently, technology has developed very rapidly. The industrial sector has entered the Era of 4.0. One of the technologies that has experienced significant progress is 3D Printing technology. The community service team of Tidar University lecturers held a 3D printing workshop at SMK Islam Secang in June 2025. The subjects of this community service activity were students, teachers, and educators from SMK Islam Secang, particularly from the Automotive Engineering Department, with 17 participants. The method used was by conducting training activities. The implementation of this community service aimed to improve the understanding of teachers and students regarding 3D Printing. This training utilized a Fused Deposition Modeling FDM) type printer as a supporting tool. During the implementation of the activity, the participants were very enthusiastic in taking part in the training since it was a new experience for them. This was evident from their active participation throughout the training sessions. This community service offered participants a novel insight into 3D Printing, equipping them with the ability to apply it, especially within the automotive field.
