Mengelola Arus Kas untuk Ketahanan Usaha: Penguatan Literasi Keuangan bagi UMKM di Bengkulu Tengah

Netta Agusti, Redy Badrudin, Reswita Reswita

Abstract

Many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia fail not due to a lack of market access, but because of weak financial literacy, especially in cash flow management. This community engagement study aims to improve the financial competence of MSME actors in Pekik Nyaring Village, Central Bengkulu, through practical training based on local needs. The program involved 14 participants from various sectors, including snack production, pastries, pickled fruits, processed fish, and coffee. Pre-test results showed low participant understanding of financial separation, budgeting, and non-cash transaction recording. Post-training assessments revealed significant improvements across nearly all indicators, particularly in using cash buffers, preparing cash flow projections, and reconciling digital payments. The contextual and hands-on learning method proved effective in fostering new knowledge and habits. Key recommendations include continued mentoring, adoption of simple record-keeping systems, and strengthening the MSME ecosystem through digital payment and financing solutions rooted in local contexts.
