PEMBERDAYAAN ANAK-ANAK MELALUI PENGAJARAN AL-QUR'AN DAN KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN DI TPA AL-BAROKAH

Abstract

The community service activity at TPA Al-Barokah, Nepak Hamlet, Bulurejo Village, Mertoyudan District, Magelang Regency, carried out by students from UIN Salatiga, aims to improve the quality of religious education for children through Qur'an learning and strengthening Islamic values. One of the main challenges faced by the TPA is the lack of teaching staff, which limits the implementation of learning programs. To address this, students are directly involved in the learning process, assisting teachers, and improving the TPA's management. The community service program lasts for 40 days and involves direct observation, regular evaluations, and active participation by students in teaching. Systematic monitoring is conducted to ensure the program's effectiveness, identify challenges, and measure community involvement. The results of this activity show an increase in student participation, improvement in teaching methods, and greater community support for religious education at TPA Al-Barokah. This service program has a lasting positive impact, both in terms of enhancing educational quality and fostering synergy between students, teachers, and the community.
