Pendampingan Penerapan Literasi Budaya dan Kewargaan Berbasis GLS untuk Mengembangkan Civic Engagement Siswa di SDN 88 Kota Bengkulu

Abstract


The purpose of implementing this service is to train and assist fourth grade teachers at SDN 88 Bengkulu City in implementing GLS-based cultural and civic literacy to improve literacy activity problems in class. Apart from that, it is also to develop Civic Engagement for grade IV students. The target audience in this activity were teachers and fourth grade students at SDN 88 Bengkulu city. The method used is training and mentoring. The evaluation instrument for this activity is really self-assessment. This activity was carried out in two stages,
namely: (1) training and assistance to teachers in making and (2) implementing GLS-based cultural literacy and citizenship activities in fourth grade SDN 88 Bengkulu City. The results of the questionnaire measuring students' Civic Engagement found that in the realm of attitude, an average of 37% of students answered agree and 56% answered strongly agree. Even though the
results shown in the attitude domain were higher, positive results were also shown in the action domain where there was an average of 18% who answered rarely and 52% answered often. Thus it can be concluded that the Civic Engagement of fourth grade students also shows good results.
