Abstract

Early childhood has high creativity and imagination. One of the activities that can increase children's creativity through coloring education. The service activity was carried out at the Bussaina Orphanage on October 24, 2023 involving 3 students and 23 children involved in coloring activities. The method for implementing community service is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Coloring learning activities have been proven to have a positive impact on the development of children's artistic creativity. Learning coloring activities has always been a popular and fun hobby for children. By engaging in coloring activities, children can explore and experiment with different colors, shapes, and textures, allowing their imaginations to run wild. Through coloring, children learn to express themselves artistically and develop their unique style. In addition, coloring activities allow children to improve their fine motor skills as they practice holding and maneuvering crayons or markers.
Coloring activities can also improve a child's hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness as they focus on filling in the intricate details of coloring pages.
