Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Sosial Sebagai Bimbingan PribadiSosial dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Keagamaan Pada Masyarakat

Abstract


This research is motivated by the existence of social media which has now become a culture of public consumption to meet their daily needs. This study aims to the effectiveness of the use of social media as personal-social guidance and its effect on the inculcation of religious values in society. The research approach uses quantitative research with a survey method via mobile. The research was conducted in June 2020 with locations in Bengkulu City, Seluma Regency, Kepahiang Regency, Mukomuko Regency. The research sample of 400 respondents was taken through Multistage Random Sampling. Collecting data using surveys via mobile, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis using a survey application (alvara-analytic). The results of the study found that (1) people are digitally literate and actively use social media as their daily needs; (2) effective social media can be used as a medium or a way to guide self (personal) and other people (social) in the community in instilling religious values. The results of this study contribute as enrichment material regarding the cultivation of social media-based religious values.
