Pelatihan Penggunaan Aplikasi Agora Io Video Call Untuk Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong

Abstract


This community service aimed to train the teachers to know how to use AGORA IO Video Call application in teaching and learning English. Besides, it also knew the teachers’ perception about the training. The  method of doing this activity by using socialization, training and evaluation. This training involved 30 English teachers in Rejang Lebong Regency. This activity is tied up with the Education Department of Bengkulu Province  and education institutions in Rejang Lebong regency, especially junior high schools. Those parts have the same vision as the community service to educate people. The result of this community service activity showed that many teachers gave positive responses towards the implementation of AGORA IO Video Call application training. This was proved by most teachers who strongly agreed and agreed to the questionnaire that had been distributed to them. Moreover, teachers thought that this training is very useful for them in teaching English because Agora IO Video Call could be used easily and practically as one of alternative media in teaching and learning English.
