Penguatan Literasi Anak Korban Kekerasan di Panti Sosial Perlindungan Anak Dharma Samarinda

Abstract


Children victims of violence at the Dharma Samarinda Child Protection Social Institution are children who need attention from various parties. From the test results conducted by doctors who are also psychologists at the Atma Husada Mental Hospital, the cognitive abilities of children in the UPTD Dharma Samarinda Child Protection Social Institution have a low level of cognitive ability, 75% of children have psychic and cognitive disorders (Slow learner). This service aims to provide literacy strengthening for children of the Dharma Samarinda Child Protection Social Institution which is expected to have a positive impact on the child's psychic and cognitive abilities. The service was carried out using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method from March-May 2022. The result of this service is the implementation of literacy strengthening programs such as activities; Training for Caregivers, Talk Show "Literacy Leads to Success", Creating Wall Magazines, Writing Greeting Cards, Creating Reading Corners in Every Homestead, and Writing Hope and Dream.
