Pengaruh Sampah Rumah Tangga Terhadap Kulitas pH Air Tempat Pembuangan Akhir TPA Air Sebakul Kelurahan Sukarami Kecamatan Selebar Kota Bengkulu

Abstract


Garbage is a consequence of human activity. Every human activity must generate waste or garbage. Of the many human activities it turns out that the most dangerous is household waste. This household waste not only affects the aesthetic landscape, but also impacts on health and the surrounding environment. This study uses an experimental method or direct observation that aims to determine the effect of household waste on the quality of water pH at Landfill Site in Selebar District of Sukarami Bengkulu City. From the results of experiments conducted for 1 day and took 5 water sources, both water sources and liquid waste formed, it turns out that the pH of the water formed an average of about 80% has acidic water characteristics. and have other characteristics that emerge such as solid black color and odor, so from the results of the study it can be concluded that from the 5 samples taken by researchers only 2 water sources can be consumed by the public with a pH of 7 and 6.
