Optimalisasi Literasi Alquran: Implementasi Metode Ummi untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar di SDN 1 Carangrejo, Ponorogo

Abstract


The Al-Qur'an recitation at SDN 1 Carangrejo, located in the village of Carangrejo, Sub-district Sampung, District Ponorogo Regency, is a place to learn the Al-Qur'an. The students' lack of ability to understand the Qur'an, especially reading based on the rules and the learning process which is time-consuming, contributed to the students' lack of concentration when learning the Al-Qur'an. Another problem is the insufficient understanding of tajweed, which is often practically taught, which forces children to read without the correct rules. The aim of this activity is to teach children how to read the al-Qur'an according to its rules and guidelines. Apart from that, researchers also understand children with an easier method, namely by the Ummi method technique. This type of research is Grounded Research which applies the assistance of The Ummi theory-method in teaching reading the al-Qur'an to children. The method of approach employed is using a phenomenological approach to directly review the phenomena that occurred at SDN 1 Carangrejo and data analysis employing Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving children in this research. The findings in this study were that after the assistance was carried out, the ability to read the Al-Qur'an with the rules and guidelines of the students from children there was a change and improvement. Indicators of the ability to read the Al-Qur'an are also getting better from the beginning of learning to an increase.
