Penguatan Literasi Metode Pembayaran Digital EDC (Electronic Data Capture) bagi UMKM di Kota Semarang
Abstract
Training and mentoring on the EDC (Electronic Data Capture) digital payment method for the Annisa 36 MSME in Candi Losman District, Semarang City, aims to improve digital financial literacy and business transaction efficiency. Given the importance of using non-cash payments to support MSME competitiveness, this training focuses on a basic understanding of EDC, how the devices operate, and integration procedures with banking systems. Direct mentoring is provided to ensure MSMEs can apply the theory in their business activities, including accepting debit/credit card payments, recording digital transactions, and resolving technical issues. Furthermore, this training encourages the use of technology to reduce the risk of cash transaction theft and create a more transparent payment system. With this training and mentoring, MSMEs are expected to be more confident in using EDC technology and open to other digital payment methods, such as QRIS and mobile banking. Community service methods include initial surveys, digital payment system literacy, EDC training, and monitoring and evaluation to improve operational efficiency and the accuracy of digital-based financial reports.
