Focus and Scope
The aim of this Journal is to promote a principled approach to research on language and language-related concerns by encouraging enquiry into relationship between theoretical and practical studies. The journal welcomes contributions in such areas of current analysis in:
- Second and foreign language teaching and learning;
- Literature and teaching;
- Language in education;
- Language planning and Language testing;
- Curriculum design and development for Second/ Foreign Language;
- Discourse analysis;
- Translation; and
- Linguistics;
- ELT in Muslim Communities

Peer Review Process
The journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. The acceptance or rejection of articles will be decided by the editorial boards based on the review results supplied by the reviewers. There are no communications between authors and editors concerning the rejection decision. Before going to review process, all manuscripts will be checked that they are free from plagiarism practice. If there is an indication of plagiarism, the manuscript will instantly be rejected. Authors whose papers are rejected will be informed with the reasons of the rejection.
The editors reserve the right to suggest that the authors have their manuscipts proofread and to decline publication of manuscripts whose authors do not comply with the editors' suggestions.

Linguists : Journal of Linguistics and Language Teaching publishes twice a year (July and December)
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Article Processing Charge
Irrespective of the publishing model chosen by this journal, our goal is to ensure articles are published as quickly as possible, subject to appropriate quality controls, and widely disseminated. If your paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee (USD 125) to cover publications costs. If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work. Our duty is to make sure your article immediately and freely available upon publication.
Anti-Plagiarism Policy
Our journal will not tolerate any kind of plagiarism. Authors should understand well the publication ethics regarding plagiarism. To make sure that your papers are plagiarism-free, we will do at least two following step:
- Rapid assesment by plagarism-cheking softwares
- Comprehensive assement by editors.
