Dinamika Emosional dan Sosial Siswa Remaja dengan Gangguan Pendengaran di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Kota Bengkulu

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami dinamika emosional dan sosial seorangremaja tunarungu melalui studi kasus mendalam terhadap NL, siswi SLBberusia 15 tahun di Kota Bengkulu. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodestudi kasus digunakan untuk menggali pengalaman personal, keluarga, danlingkungan sosial yang mempengaruhi proses perkembangan NL. Datadikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi,kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa NL mengalami keterlambatanperkembangan sejak kecil, hambatan komunikasi, serta berbagai bentukbullying dan stigma sosial yang berdampak pada kepercayaan diri danregulasi emosinya. NL sering merasakan kesedihan, kecemasan, danpertanyaan diri terkait kondisi pendengarannya. Namun, dukunganemosional ibu menjadi faktor protektif yang sangat menentukan dalammembantu NL membangun penerimaan diri, kestabilan emosi, danketerampilan sosial. Keluarga berperan besar melalui pendampinganspiritual, pemenuhan kebutuhan emosional, serta penguatan potensi kreatifNL, terutama dalam bidang seni dan fashion yang menjadi sumber harga diridan identitas positifnya. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa remaja tunarungutidak hanya menghadapi hambatan psikososial, tetapi juga memiliki peluangberkembang ketika mendapatkan dukungan yang tepat. Penelitian inimemberikan kontribusi penting bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling Islamdalam merancang intervensi yang lebih adaptif dan empatik terhadapkebutuhan remaja dengan gangguan pendengaran.
