Abstract
Interest and talent are two internal factors that are very closely related to student
achievement in school. Interest as a psychological aspect can not only influence individual behavior, but can also encourage individuals to continue doing and obtaining something they are interested in. For high school (SMA) students who are supposed to be teenagers, the development of their interests is greatly influenced by their interest in work. School is the second environment where students receive education after the family environment. At school, students receive knowledge transfer from their teachers. Teachers not only provide educational provisions, but also moral provisions and moraldevelopment. In this case, teachers have a strategic role in directing student behavior, because good teacher behavior can be an example for changing negative student behavior. Therefore, the current condition of the young generation is a picture of a nation's progress in the future. In other words, if the current generation is good, then the nation will be good in the future, conversely, if the current young generation is not good then the nation has a steep future.
