DEVELOPMENT OF LKPD BASED ON REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) ON RATIO MATERIAL

Abstract


This research aims to produce teaching materials in the form of LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on Ratio material that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the Plomp development model. The stages used in this development model only reach the second stage, namely preliminary research and prototyping phase. The participants in this research consisted of 2 mathematics educators as validators and practitioners as well as 12 seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency. This research uses validation questionnaires, practicality test questionnaires and interview guides as data collection tools. Research data analysis includes validity analysis and practicality analysis. The results of validity data analysis showed that the RME-based LKPD that was developed obtained LKPD validity results of 88.51% in the very valid category. The results of the practicality data analysis obtained a result of 88.12% in the very practical category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the RME-based LKPD on ratio material at SMPN 2 Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency is declared valid and practical for use by educators and students in learning activities.
