Author Guidelines
General Author Guidelines
1. The manuscript should be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English and have never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism.
2. The manuscript may take the form of research, case studies, or literary studies.
3. All manuscripts must be submitted to Disastra at e-journal portal address: https://ejournal.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id/index.php/disastra where author register as Author and/or offered as Reviewer by online.
4. The script is typed with 1,15 spacing, size A4, font Times New Roman type, 12 characters, margins: top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 2.5 cm and right 2 cm in length of scripts between 8-25 pages.
5. The script must follow the rules of writing Scientific Writing (KTI), and particularly for Bahasa Indonesia articles, they must use good and right Bahasa Indonesia based on Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD) and Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI). If in English we recommend you to use spell checking application such as Grammarly etc.
6. Author’s name (without academic title), author’s affiliation name and address, and e-mail.
7. The title and abstract are written bilingually, namely in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
8. The manuscript will publish in Disastra: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia after being reviewed by peer reviewers.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Structure of the manuscripts
Title. Title is written bilingually, namely in Bahasa Indonesia and English. The title should be short, bright, and informative, but does not exceed 16 words. It has to be pinpoint with the issues discussed. The article title does not contain any uncommon abbreviation. The main ideas should be written first and followed then by its explanations.
Author’s names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions, institutions address, and email addresses, without any academic titles and job title
Abstract. Abstract is written bilingually, namely in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Abstract is made in one paragraph which consists of objective, research methods, results, conclusions, between 200-250 words; and Keywords between 3-7 concepts.
Introduction. The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art), the main research problems and research method. In the final part of the introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated.
Methods. The Methods sections should be brief, but they should include sufficient technical information to allow the experiments to be repeated by a qualified reader. Only new methods should be described in detail. Cite previously published procedures in References.
Result and Discussion. This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data. The research results and the discovery must be the answers, or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objectives outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?. The discussion is highlighted in the title and subtitles of this section. In addition, this section should significantly explore the research findings without redundant and long direct quotation
Conclusions. Conclusion should answer the objectives of the research and the research discoveries. The concluding remark should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions or abstract. You should also suggest future research and point out those that are underway.
References. The References section must include all relevant published works, and all listed references must be cited in the text. The citations system is bodynote. Use of a tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc. for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 7th Edition style. Referral sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years.
