Sinonim dalam Bahasa Lintang di Kecamatan Muara Pinang Kabupaten Empat Lawang
Abstract
Abstract: Synonyms In Lintang In Muara Pinang District, Empat Lawang District. Even though South Sumatra Province is rich in regional languages, there are several languages that rarely appear on the surface because they are rarely used by native speakers in public spaces. The aim of this research is to analyze synonyms in one of the regional languages of South Sumatra, namely the Lintang language and to describe what words have synonyms in the Lintang language in Suka Dana Village, Muara Pinang District, Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatra Province. The data collection method used is the observation method and the method used for data analysis is the distributional method. From the data analysis it can be concluded that the classification of synonyms in the Lintang language is: (1) Synonyms where one of the members has a more general meaning. (2) Synonyms in which one member has elements of more intensive meaning. (3) Synonyms where one member has more emotive meaning. (4) Synonyms where one member is more commonly used in written language. (5) Synonyms where one member is more commonly used in conversation. (6) Wrong synonyms one member is used in children's language. (7) Synonyms in which one of the members is used only in regions.
