The Effect of Using Interactive Multimedia-Based Biology Learning Media to Improve Critical Thinking Ability and Student Motivation at SMA Negeri 10 Bengkulu Utara

Abstract


This study aims to influence the use of interactive multimedia-based Biology learning media in improving critical thinking skills and student learning motivation at SMA Negeri 10 Bengkulu Utara. This research method uses a quasi-experiment method, with a quantitative approach and uses a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that the results of the homogeneity test obtained a significant value of 0.372> 0.05, it was concluded that the results of the critical thinking test in the experimental class and control class had a significant difference. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a significant value of critical thinking of students obtained 0.014 < 0.05 with the decision to use interactive multimedia-based biology learning media on the ability to critical thinking skills of students at SMAN 10 North Bengkulu. The results showed that the results of the homogeneity test obtained a significant value of 0.216> 0.05, it was concluded that the results of the learning motivation test in the experimental class and control class there were significant differences. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a significant value of student learning motivation obtained 0.047 < 0.05 with the decision to use interactive multimedia-based biology learning media on the ability to the ability of student learning motivation at SMAN 10 North Bengkulu.
