TRANSPARANSI JUAL BELI ONLINE: PERSPEKTIF ETIKA ISLAM DALAM PRAKTIK E-COMMERCE

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the practice of transparency and honesty in online buying and selling from an Islamic ethical perspective, especially in the context of e-commerce. In the midst of the rapid development of digital platforms, online buying and selling transactions have become an integral part of global economic life, but are often marred by problems of non-transparency and dishonesty, such as fraud, unclear information, and the quality of goods that do not match the description. Through a qualitative approach and literature study, this research explores the principles of Islamic ethics that can be applied in e-commerce practices, such as honesty (shidq), trustworthiness and openness (transparency). The research results show that Islam places great emphasis on the importance of these two values in business transactions, by providing guidelines for maintaining integrity between sellers and buyers, as well as demanding responsibility in providing clear and correct information. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating Islamic ethical values in regulations and policies governing e-commerce platforms, in order to create a digital ecosystem that is more honest, transparent and fair for all parties. This research also encourages business people to apply Islamic ethical principles in online buying and selling practices, so that they can build trust and create fairer and better quality transactions.
