Author Guidelines

FORMAT OF WRITING ARTICLES IN AT-TASHARRUF: Jurnal Kajian Hukum Ekonomi Syariah 

General Provisions

1. Articles accepted are articles that have never been published in any journal, whether or not in the status of being accepted for publication
2. Articles in the form of research results in the field of Sharia Economic Law which includes sharia economic law, legal science, Islamic law, and sharia economics that have not been listed
3. Articles are accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the author stating that the article written is truly his own work and does not contain plagiarism.

Writing Systematics

1. Articles consist of 5,000 to 8,000 words, typed with 1 spacing on A4 paper with Palatino Linotype font size 11 and using body notes. The writing to be published uses good Indonesian or English.
2. The structure of the article consists of: Title (Bahasa and English), Author's Name, Abstract (Bahasa and English), Keywords (maximum 5), Introduction, Literature Review (if research results), Research Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (optional) and References.
3. Article Writing Requirements:

• • Title: consists of 10-15 words
  • Author's Name: written without a title, accompanied by the name and address of the institution, along with a correspondence email
  • Abstract is written in Indonesian and English, consisting of 100-250 words and contains: background (if any), objectives, methods (briefly), results, and conclusions
  • Keywords are written in Indonesian and English, maximum 5 words
  • Introduction: contains conditions or problems that underlie or inspire the implementation of research activities, previous data/studies that support research from other papers from journals in the last 5 years, writes a gap analysis/statement of gaps with previous research, and the last paragraph contains objectives (does not contain a theoretical review) that are written explicitly.
  • Research Method: describes the methods used to solve the problem, including the type of research, research object, data collection techniques, and data analysis
  • Results and Discussion: The results explain the findings (what/how) of the processed data can be in the form of explanations, tables, and images that are easy to understand. While the discussion (why) explains the results obtained by explaining the facts clearly, while explaining the suitability and contradictions with the results of other studies which are marked by the existence of other literature that is able to display the implications of the research, both practically and theoretically.
  • Conclusion: The conclusion must be able to provide answers to the objectives and problems in the research (article), so the author must explain firmly and honestly about the data obtained
  • References: The reference list is written based on the Chicago Manual Foot Note model. References are shown with the latest to justify originality or novelty (last 5 years). The primary literature is attempted to be a minimum of 80% from primary literature or scientific journals. Authors are advised to use reference management applications (Mendeley, Zotero, and EndNote).

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish with AT-TASHARRUF: Jurnal Kajian Hukum Ekonomi Syariah journal agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain copyright and grant the AT-TASHARRUF: Jurnal Kajian Hukum Ekonomi Syariah journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
2. Authors can enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or edit it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
