DESIGN FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PAI CURRICULUM IN MADRASAH IN REVIEW OF THE BASIS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Abstract


Science and Technology (Science and Technology) plays an important role in education today, but there are still many students, including students, who have not mastered technology well. This research aims to analyze views regarding science and technology in the design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum development. The method used is library research with reference to books and journals. The research results show that every component in the PAI curriculum design in madrasas needs to integrate science and technology, including objectives, materials, methods and evaluation. Several things that need to be considered in this integration include: a) Science and technology development must be carried out effectively and dynamically, accompanied by the development of human resources and infrastructure; b) Curriculum preparation must aim to improve the quality of life of the nation; c) Science and technology development must be in harmony with religious values and socio-economic conditions; d) The PAI curriculum must be able to solve specific problems faced by society. This research emphasizes the important role of science and technology in improving the quality of education in madrasas.
