Abstract


This study aims to describe the effect of video dialogue on Arabic vocabulary mastery of the Arabic Language Education Study Program. This study is an ex post facto study. The population in this study were 4th semester students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. The research sample was 48 students using the total sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires and tests that had been proven to be valid and reliable. The prerequisite test used the normality test and linearity test, and correlation test. The data analysis technique used was a simple linear regression test. From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be seen that the video dialogue assignment has a significant influence on the Arabic vocabulary mastery of students in the Arabic Language Education Study Program, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Based on the data presented, it can be seen that the influence of the video dialogue assignment in semester 4A was 44.8%, while the rest was influenced by other factors that were not studied. Meanwhile, in semester 4B, the influence of the video dialogue assignment increased to 58.2%, and in semester 4C it reached 49.50%. This shows that the use of video dialogue tasks can help improve students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary.
