Abstract

The Quran is the holy book of Muslims that possesses eternal i’jaz (miraculous nature) from various aspects, including legislative, linguistic, and scientific. The scientific i’jaz of the Quran refers to the Quran's information about the reality of things that can be proven by experimental science, which at the time was beyond human reach due to the limitations of available means. This serves as evidence proving the truth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a Messenger concerning what was revealed by Allah (glorified and exalted be He). By demonstrating the inability of the disbelievers of Quraysh to confront its eternal miracle, the noble Quran, this is a testament to his prophethood. The research method used in this study is library research. The library research method involves the process of data processing by collecting and analyzing literature data such as notes, books, or previous studies related to the researched theme. Meteorologists know about the formation of rain clouds and their functions using advanced equipment. However, the Quran contains information about the formation of rain clouds that dates back 1,400 years. Research has scientifically proven that lightning requires thick clouds known as Cumulus. This means that scientific reality indicates a link between thick clouds and the occurrence of lightning. What is astonishing to us is that this phenomenon is precisely as stated in the Quran. Living creatures are made of water? Today, scientists with advanced equipment such as microscopes have discovered that cells are the most basic units in living organisms. Most cells contain cytoplasm, which is 80% water. Human embryo development, which refers to the stages of development of a baby or fetus in a mother's womb, is described in the Quran in Surah Al-Mu’minun verses 12-14. Hopefully, this explanation can increase our faith in Allah (glorified and exalted be He) because the extraordinary contents of the Quran are filled with knowledge that continues to be explored and studied until now.
