KEBUDAYAAN BENGKULU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA (PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SMP)

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D), untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis etnomatematika dengan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VII pokok bahasan Segiempat. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Maribe Branch. Model ini menggunakan 5 tahapan pengembangan, yakni: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development;(4)Implementation; dan (5) Evaluation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis etnomatematika dengan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VII. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VII A SMPN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket mengenai uji validitas (kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan bahasa) dan angket uji kepraktisan implementasi produk. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil penilaian ahli secara statistik diperoleh prosentase rata-rata 80,91% sehingga Lembar kerja siswa berbasis etnomatematika dengan pendekatan saintifik yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan sangat valid (dapat digunakan). Pada uji kepraktisan Lembar kerja siswa berbasis etnomatematika dengan pendekatan saintifik yang dikembangkan mendapatkan respon yang sangat positif dari siswa dan guru. Berdasarkan skor angket penilaian kriteria kepraktisan Lembar Kerja Siswa yang diperoleh rata-rata skor kepraktisan yaitu 86,7%, yang berarti Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis etnomatematika yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan praktis (baik). Sedangkan untuk ukuran efektifitas Lembar kerja siswa berbasis etnomatematika baru tercapai menurut ketuntasan individu, dan belum tercapai secara klasikal, yakni hanya memenuhi 69,62% dari target 80%.

Abstract

This research is a type of research and development (R&D), to develop teaching materials in the form of ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets with a scientific approach in learning mathematics in SMP class VII with the subject of Quadrilateral (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation. This study aims to determine the level of validity and practicality of ethnomathematical-based Student Worksheets with a scientific approach in learning mathematics in SMP class VII. The test subjects were students of class VII A SMPN 5 Bengkulu City. The data collection instruments were in the form of a questionnaire regarding the validity test (content feasibility, presentation feasibility, and language feasibility) and a product implementation practicality test questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that from the results of statistical expert assessments obtained an average percentage of 80.91%, so that the ethnomathematics- based Student Worksheet with the scientific approach developed could be declared very valid (can be used). In the practicality test, the ethnomathematics-based student worksheets with a scientific approach were developed to get a very positive response from students and teachers. Based on the score of the questionnaire assessment of the practicality criteria of the Student Worksheets, the average practicality score was 86.7%, which means that the ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets developed can be declared practical (good). Meanwhile, the effectiveness measure of ethnomathematics-based student worksheets has only been achieved according to individual mastery, and has not been achieved classically, which only met 69.62% of the 80% target.
