INOVASI KOMUNIKASI DIGITAL DI PESANTREN: MENGHUBUNGKAN TRADISI DAN MODERNITAS DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUSSALAM BLOKAGUNG BANYUWANGI
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze how digital communication innovations in pesantren can connect tradition with modernity, as well as to explore their impact on teaching and preaching. The design of this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type focusing on a single site, namely Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung, Banyuwangi. This approach was chosen to gain an in-depth understanding of how the pesantren utilizes digital technology to preserve religious traditions while meeting the demands of modernity. The data collection techniques used were depth interviews, participant observation, and document studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis uses the interactive three models of Miles and Huberman, which begins with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, the technique for verifying data validity uses triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The sources of informants in this study include the pesantren administrators, the digital media management team of the pesantren, ustadzah, and the guardians of the students. The research results show that this pesantren has successfully integrated digital technology to maintain relevance without neglecting traditional values, including: the use of digital platforms can support interactive distance learning, management applications improve administrative efficiency and transparency in data and financial management, and the digitization of classical texts into e-book format reflects the pesantren's efforts to adapt to the learning styles of the millennial generation, facilitate access to learning, and expand the distribution of religious knowledge. These three innovations demonstrate how the pesantren can integrate digital technology with religious traditions, maintaining the continuity of educational and missionary functions while responding to the challenges of the times. The contribution of this research is the existence of an integrative pesantren model in education with the use of technology without abandoning its distinctive values.

ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana inovasi komunikasi digital di pesantren dapat menghubungkan tradisi dengan modernitas, serta untuk mengeksplorasi dampaknya terhadap pengajaran dan dakwah. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus yang berfokus pada satu situs yakni Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung, Banyuwangi. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana pesantren memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna mempertahankan tradisi keagamaan sambil memenuhi tuntutan modernitas. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan depth interview, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumen. Sedangkan analaisi datanya menggunakan inetraktif tiga model Miles and Huberman yang dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sementara itu teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan datanya memakai triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. Adapun Sumber informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengurus pesantren, tim pengelola media digital Pesantren, ustadzah dan wali santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren ini berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi digital untuk mempertahankan relevansi tanpa mengabaikan nilai tradisional, diantaranya yaitu: penggunaan platform digital dapat mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh yang interaktif, aplikasi manajemen meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan data dan keuangan dan digitalisasi kitab klasik dalam format e-book mencerminkan upaya pesantren untuk menyesuaikan gaya belajar generasi milenial, memudahkan akses pembelajaran, serta memperluas distribusi ilmu agama. Ketiga inovasi ini menunjukkan bagaimana pesantren mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dengan tradisi keagamaan, menjaga keberlanjutan fungsi pendidikan dan dakwah sambil merespons tantangan zaman. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah adanya model pesantren integratif dalam pendidikan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai kekhasannya.
